The beaches in Chiba, Japan are vast and many are remote, allowing you the chance to unwind from city life. Just over a 2 hour train journey from Tokyo, you will find Makuhari beach within 7 minutes walking distance from Kaihimmakuhari train station. On a clear day you can see Skytree Tower standing tall amongst the Tokyo skycrapers. In the evenings it lights up in an array of vibrant colours. I sat on the beach and watched the sun slowly set like a huge, glowing orange in the sky. It was the perfect view for any beach lover.
